Visit of Russian delegation to the cantons of Western Switzerland

OPORA Europe in cooperation with the International Agency of the Economic Development Western Switzerland (DEWS) organized a visit of the delegation of Russian entrepreneurs – members of OPORA RUSSIA to the cantons of Western Switzerland.

The purpose of this visit was to show Russian entrepreneurs investment opportunities of Western Switzerland. Particular attention was paid to the opportunities of cooperation in the innovative sphere.

Members of OPORA RUSSIA delegation met the heads of the economic departments of the cantons Vaud, Valais, Jura and Neuchatel. Investment projects of the cantons of Western Switzerland were presented.

During this business mission to Switzerland delegation visited the leading Swiss institutions implementing innovative policies. Among them: Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) with its Science Park and Centre Suisse d'Electronique et de Microtechnique (CSEM) in Neuchatel.
