Visit of OPORA RUSSIA delegation to Vienna, Austria

From 21 till 24 of October, 2009 a delegation of 40 entrepreneurs-members of OPORA RUSSIA from 10 Russian regions visited Vienna. The main organizers of the event were OPORA EUROPE together with Austrian-Russian Business Association.

The purpose of the visit was to show our members investment and business opportunities of Austria. Particular attention was paid to the opportunities of cooperation in the agricultural sector and in the sphere of the alternative energy.

22nd of October the Forum “Agriculture and alternative energy. Austrian experience and opportunities for Russian business” was conducted in the framework of the visit.

During this business mission to Austria delegation visited the leading Austrian companies dealing in the sphere of agriculture, alternative energy and food industry. Among them: meat processing plant (RADATZ ), plant for processing milk and cheese production (NÖM), bakery (MANN) and energy company EVN Waerme GmbH Fernheizkraftwerk.
